Local Artisans Are Creating a Co-op

A group of local professional artisans created a cooperative shop featuring regional hand works and art in a portion of the former Thomson Museum building on James Street in Alexandria Bay.
Bay House Artisans offers a diverse assortment of high quality, hand crafted goods and original artwork. The list of products includes hand knits, art glass, beaded jewelry, ceramic bird feeders and birdhouses, wooden items, pet toys & treats, pottery, goat milk soaps, pressed flower art, sculptures, paintings and prints, and other products made by North Country artisans.
The group is currently in contact with artists who may come and demonstrate their craft at various times through out the season, in particular during ART WALK throughout the summer.
Bay House Artisans aims to be an exciting addition to the neighborhood, and to represent some of the finest regional products available. The shop continues to jury the work of any additional participants throughout the summer season, basing their decision to admit new members based on quality and  originality.
